April 2018, Washington, DC: Dr. Ford sharing her inspiring journey at the X-STEM Symposium at the 2018 USA Science & Engineering Festival.
May 2018, Cambridge, MA: Dr. Ford returned to her alma mater to share her personal prescription for overcoming the imposter syndrome.
June 2018, Albuquerque, NM: Dr. Ford delivered the closing keynote address at the McGraw Hill Education Math and Science Symposium.
June-July 2018, Namibia and Swaziland, Africa: As a part of the U.S. State Department's Speaker program, Dr. Ford spent two weeks in two countries in Southern Africa: Namibia and Swaziland. She shared her inspiring journey at numerous schools and conducted workshops with educators.
October 2018, Dallas, TX: The Girl Powered Initiative rallied thousands of students across the globe to explore STEM Careers. Dr. Ford delivered the keynote at the Girl Powered Flagship Event, which was presented by The Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, VEX Robotics, and Texas Instruments.
